OK -- We're up to 1.2.2 now and using the standard xmlrpc.php file in the WordPress distribution. Now...will w.bloggar work?

JR:

Well, they may have had it in there when it was originally released, but the 1.2.1 disty I have doesn't have it included. Unfortunately, I cannot remember where I got it and a quick check to WordPress.org shows that the 1.2.2 contains the file. I'm glad they fixed the problem, and I now I'm perplexed why I didn't have the 1.2.2 version to begin with...Time to upgrade already?

Hi Peter

Just to make sure that the WordPress guys don't get wrongly accused: In fact, they did include the
xmlrpc.php
in WordPress 1.2 but it was lacking some functionality regarding the implementation. My
xmlrpc.php
is a drop-in replacement for the original one -- 90% of the code are the same.

Hmm...I don't like the way that the italicized words get the same color as the live links. Time to poke into the CSS file for the first time. :-)
